Responsibilities

MS SQL DB – Offshore –

Expertise in Database Administration on Production Servers with server configuration and management with troubleshooting capabilities.

Hands on experience in configuration and management of SQL Server High Availability and DR strategies

Proficiency and expertise in SQL Server backup and recovery

Expertise in user management, roles and permissions

Hands on experience in configuring SQL Server and Windows service pack upgrades

Hands on experience of SQL Server upgradation and migration

Sound knowledge of DB maintenance plans and SQL server agent jobs management

Hands on experience on SQL Server replication configuration and management

Implementation, troubleshooting SQL Server always on

Performance & Tuning

Handling P1,P2 incidents. Do the RCA using problem ticket.

Analyse the recurring incidents and give a preventive solution to fix it.

Experience 8-10 years of relevant experience
