RTR-Fixed Asset Expert

YOUR ROLE:

This is an entry level professional position that will be responsible for ensuring the proper accounting and financial reporting for the acquisition, construction, and disposition of the  fixed assets in compliance with State, Federal and Corporate guidelines and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.  This role will support the capitalization of fixed assets.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Perform cost segregation (i.e., capitalization of fixed assets) on large and complex projects with multiple asset components
• SAP Experience is mandatory for the role
• 3-4 years of relevant experience into Fixed Assets as Fixed Creation, Capitalization, Transfers, Disposals, Depreciation, Month End Close, Reconciliation.
• Drive meetings with management to address accounting/company policy guidance

YOUR PROFILE:

• Identify technical/engineering aspects of assets to clarify and opine on associated costs
• Perform review of peer or lowered-tier staff work products
• Train/mentor new/lowered-tier staff
• Prepare quarterly complex account reconciliations and CapEx reports
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and SOX Controls
• Satisfactorily address customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with BU management
