Job Description

Your Role

As a BSW Tester, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and automating test activities for AUTOSAR Basic Software modules. You will work closely with software developers, system architects, and integration teams to ensure robust validation of embedded systems using industry-leading Vector tools and HIL environments.

Your Profile

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience in AUTOSAR BSW testing, specifically Diagnostics, COM, and FM modules.
  • Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing of embedded software systems.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
  • Proficiency in Vector tools including CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, and vTESTstudio.
  • Experience in test automation using CAPL, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Strong debugging, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, or Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and automotive validation processes.

Preferred Skills

  • ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and methodology.
  • Experience with requirements management and defect tracking tools.
  • Exposure to ASPICE, ISO 26262, or other automotive quality standards.

In this role, you will

  • Perform validation and verification of AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules such as Diagnostics, Communication (COM), and Function Management (FM).
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for embedded software components.
  • Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing to validate system functionality under real-world scenarios.
  • Utilize Vector toolchain including CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, and vTESTstudio for testing, simulation, and analysis activities.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks and test scripts using CAPL, Python, or equivalent scripting languages.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
  • Support integration, regression, and release testing activities.
  • Prepare test reports, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
