Mechanical Engineer – Design Support

Your Role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be instrumental in designing technology solutions that address client challenges in the Mechanical Design domain. You’ll work closely with sales and delivery teams to shape proposals, contribute to solutioning, and support clients in adopting innovative, value-driven technologies.

In this role, you will:

  • Creating and maintaining part/ assembly cad layout for medium complex projects
  • Can propose OEM parts for defined requirements from engineers
  • Assist the engineers in performing functional test
  • Implement design/design changes for medium complex parts/assemblies
  • Create medium complex wire/cable/tube/hose harness routing (ex. >10 connection points)
  • Create system level customer specific layouts and P&ID’s
  • Design parts using metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics and advanced coatings/plating’s
  • Support ME on in-house testing at module and sub-system level
  • Consult/advise suppliers during product design to translate detailed engineering into specifications

Your Profile

  • 4–8 years of experience in IT delivery and solutioning within the Mechanical Design domain.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in presales or client-facing technical roles is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Your Role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be instrumental in designing technology solutions that address client challenges in the Drafting and Designer domain. You’ll work closely with sales and delivery teams to shape proposals, contribute to solutioning, and support clients in adopting innovative, value-driven technologies.

In this role, you will:

  • Creating / Updating CAD drawings for sheet metal, machined parts, complex assemblies, gas line weldments etc
  • Documenting and releasing engineering drawings & bills of materials using Engineering Change Management
  • Working on resolution of documentation quality issues / Supplier Build issues
  • Selects OEM parts per design requirements with guidance from Mechanical Engineers and adheres to established processes/BKMs/Standards

Position Title: Hardware Designer (DST)

 

Educational qualification:

BE in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Industrial engineering with 5 to 8 Yrs of relevant Exp in Design & Drafting

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Recommend engineering solutions for simple to medium complex “Problem reports”
  • Create CAD assemblies & BOM for design changes / modifications
  • Work on implementing multiple engineering changes through Change orders
  • Collaborate with product development engineers in implementing concept design and simple design changes
  • Create/review drawings for complex sheetmetal & machined parts, welded structures & complex assemblies.
  • Create assembly/test procedures, rework instructions etc..

Mandatory Skills Required to Perform the Job:

 

  • Proficient in 3D CAD modelling & assembly management using Creo or Nx & Team center
  • Proficient in BoM management using PLM softwares
  • Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process, SAP, PLM etc..
  • Good knowledge of engineering/design methods & processes
  • Experience in various fabrication methods (Sheetmetal & Machining)
  • Knowledge in Mechanical hardware (fasteners) and OEM components selection

The role

  • Technical expert role during hands-on development.
  • 10+ years of hands on development experience on Endur.
  • Working closely with Front/Middle/Back Office, Operations and Finance business users and be responsible for gathering, documenting, and delivering requirements and use cases through to user acceptance and implementation.

TECHNICAL LEAD L1

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Do

  • Oversee and support process by reviewing daily transactions on performance parameters
    • Review performance dashboard and the scores for the team
    • Support the team in improving performance parameters by providing technical support and process guidance
    • Record, track, and document all queries received, problem-solving steps taken and total successful and unsuccessful resolutions
    • Ensure standard processes and procedures are followed to resolve all client queries
    • Resolve client queries as per the SLA’s defined in the contract
    • Develop understanding of process/ product for the team members to facilitate better client interaction and troubleshooting
    • Document and analyze call logs to spot most occurring trends to prevent future problems
    • Identify red flags and escalate serious client issues to Team leader in cases of untimely resolution
    • Ensure all product information and disclosures are given to clients before and after the call/email requests
    • Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements
  • Handle technical escalations through effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of client queries
    • Manage and resolve technical roadblocks/ escalations as per SLA and quality requirements
    • If unable to resolve the issues, timely escalate the issues to TA & SES
    • Provide product support and resolution to clients by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions
    • Troubleshoot all client queries in a user-friendly, courteous and professional manner
    • Offer alternative solutions to clients (where appropriate) with the objective of retaining customers’ and clients’ business

    • Collate trainings to be conducted as triage to bridge the skill gaps identified through interviews with the Production Specialist
    • Develop and conduct trainings (Triages) within products for production specialist as per target
    • Inform client about the triages being conducted
    • Undertake product trainings to stay current with product features, changes and updates
    • Enroll in product specific and any other trainings per client requirements/recommendations
    • Identify and document most common problems and recommend appropriate resolutions to the team
    • Update job knowledge by participating in self learning opportunities and maintaining personal networks
