ServiceNow Developer
Your Role
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 6–12 years of experience to design, build, and optimize enterprise ServiceNow solutions across IT Service Management (ITSM) and either HR Service Delivery (HRSD) or Customer Service Management (CSM).
You will work closely with product owners, process SMEs, and platform engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and upgrade‑safe implementations that drive measurable business outcomes across Capgemini engagements.
Your Profile
- Design and configure ServiceNow solutions by translating business and process requirements into maintainable platform configurations including tables, forms, UI policies, client and server scripts, and Flow Designer workflows, aligned with ServiceNow out‑of‑the‑box best practices.
- Implement and enhance ITSM modules such as Incident, Request, Change, Problem, CMDB, and SLAs, along with HRSD or CSM capabilities including case management, service catalogs, knowledge management, and portals.
- Develop, support, and optimize integrations using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth/JWT authentication, MID Server, and event‑ or webhook‑based integration patterns.
- Contribute to platform engineering activities by extending the ServiceNow data model, developing custom applications when required, managing update sets, and ensuring upgrade‑safe development with a clean separation of configuration and customization
- Design and enhance user experiences through Service Portal, Employee Center, or CSM Portals, including widget development, theming, reusable components, and UX improvements for intuitive and consistent user journeys
- Collaborate effectively with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional technical teams to deliver high‑quality solutions aligned with Capgemini delivery standards
- Mandatory: Hands‑on ServiceNow development experience across ITSM with strong exposure to HRSD or CSM, solid JavaScript skills, experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub, and a strong understanding of upgrade‑safe development practices. ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable
