Your Role

As an Aero Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in developing 3D and 2D definitions of structural components, including single parts, pre‑assemblies, assemblies, and drawing sets, using CATIA V5 within the Airbus environment. You will work closely with onshore teams and the client to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

You will be responsible for delivering outputs that meet specifications, adhere to agreed timelines, and maintain the required quality standards. In addition, you will support the development of junior team members through mentoring and guidance, while consistently ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable and accurate delivery.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver design outputs as per specification, within committed timelines and quality expectations.
  • Perform detailing, assembly, and BOM creation.
  • Work on primary & secondary aircraft structures in both metallic and composite domains.
  • Collaborate closely with onshore teams and the client to ensure high‑quality output.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent, high‑quality delivery.
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and capability-building initiatives.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Strong experience working with Airbus methodologies and processes across SA, LR, and A350 programs.
  • Solid knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft structures.
  • Hands‑on expertise in designing and 3D modelling of primary structural components such as skins, frames, stringers, clips, and related parts.
  • Excellent drawing interpretation skills with a good understanding of GD&T principles.
  • Proficient in CATIA V5, including Part Design, Aerospace Sheet Metal, Drafting, Assembly, FTA, and Surface Design.
  • Practical experience with the Airbus toolchain, including VPM, PASS, TAKSY, CCD, TREND, AIRINA, 3DJuump, etc.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on primary and secondary aircraft structures.
  • Strong background in detailing, assembly, and BOM creation.
  • Self-driven, should possess excellent engineering skills and thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possessing an Airbus certification is an added advantage.
