Your Role

You will be responsible for defining and driving the architecture of scalable speech and conversational AI platforms for automotive applications. Working closely with customers, OEMs, product teams, and engineering organizations, you will architect embedded, cloud, and hybrid voice solutions while driving innovation in Generative AI and next-generation in-vehicle assistants.

Your Profile

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in Speech Technologies, Voice Assistants, or Conversational AI solutions.

  • Strong expertise in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and Voice Assistant technologies.

  • Deep understanding of speech processing pipelines, wake-word detection, intent recognition, dialogue management, and voice command execution.

  • Hands-on experience with Python, C++, Java, or Embedded Software development platforms.

  • Experience working with Linux, Android Automotive OS (AAOS), QNX, and embedded platforms.

  • Expertise in speech performance evaluation, KPI measurement, and quality optimization.

  • Experience with automotive voice platforms such as Cerence, Amazon Alexa Auto, Google Assistant, SoundHound, Nuance, or proprietary OEM voice assistants.

  • Knowledge of Generative AI, Conversational AI, and Large Language Model (LLM)-based voice assistant technologies.

  • Strong understanding of Infotainment, Digital Cockpit, Connected Vehicle, Navigation, Telematics, and IVI systems.

  • Experience integrating voice solutions with vehicle functions including navigation, media, climate control, telephony, and vehicle settings.

  • Familiarity with multi-language and multi-region voice assistant deployments.

  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong customer-facing communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to lead technical discussions, workshops, architecture reviews, and solution assessments.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Define and drive the architecture of automotive speech and voice assistant solutions.
  • Design scalable speech platforms supporting embedded, cloud, and hybrid deployment models.
  • Establish best practices for speech integration, performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Lead the implementation and integration of ASR, NLU, TTS, wake-word detection, and conversational AI components.
  • Collaborate with infotainment, digital cockpit, connected vehicle, and HMI teams to enable seamless voice interactions.
  • Define speech quality KPIs, validation strategies, and performance benchmarking frameworks.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and optimization of speech accuracy, latency, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Work with Business Development and account teams on presales solutioning, RFI/RFP responses, and customer proposals.
  • Support customer workshops, technical discussions, and solution presentations related to automotive voice platforms.
  • Mentor engineering teams on speech technologies, integration approaches, and architectural best practices.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to design and deploy innovative voice-enabled experiences.
  • Evaluate emerging trends in Conversational AI, Generative AI, and LLM-powered voice assistants.
  • Drive the adoption of intelligent in-vehicle assistants and next-generation voice interaction technologies.
