Infra Automation Engineer – Ansible, Playbook, Ansible Tower, Python

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to design, program, simulate and test the automation product or process to achieve the efficiency and effectiveness required.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Ability to Research, develop and use appropriate ansible libraries and guide team member to do the same

2. Good communication skills

3. Sound exceptions handling skills

4. Ability to own assigned ansible requirement for implementation, administration and playbook development.

5. Able to own entire module for requirements collection, design, divide development tasks and get the module developed and ready for use

6. Understand and remediate the complex IT problems

Skills required:

1. 3-4 years of IT Experience

2. Programming skill in Python/Java/Node JS

3. Minimum 3 years of experience and strong command in Ansible.

4. Strong experience in Ansible Engine and Ansible-Tower/AWX infrastructure.

5. Middle level of Linux, UNIX , Windows system administration and Some level of Network administration.

6. Implementation and maintenance of complex Ansible engine/Ansible tower infrastructure with proven expert level support.

7. Hands-on experience on developing Ansible playbooks, collections, roles, modules and plugins

8. Good knowledge on Python Language and experience in Scripting like PowerShell, YAML and shell

9. Ability to identify the IT ops difficulties and provide automated solution.

10. Knowledge of Restful and SOAP API’s

11. Knowledge on SCM tools

12. Any devops or Ansible certification is added Value
