.NET Core Azure Sr. Developer

Your Role

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and services using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Architect and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices while ensuring performance, maintainability, and backward compatibility.
• Leverage Azure services including App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices using OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and
• RBAC.Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
• Actions. Drive application performance, scalability, observability, and operational excellence. Lead technical design reviews, architecture discussions, and solution planning sessions.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and secure coding principles. Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within an Agile/Scrum environment. Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions.
• Support cloud governance, monitoring, logging, security compliance, and operational readiness initiatives.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to platforms, frameworks, and development practices.

Your Profile

• 8+ years of software development experience using C# and .NET technologies. Strong expertise in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core Web API development.
• Extensive experience designing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure. Proven experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization using Azure AD (Entra ID), OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and RBAC.Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, SQL optimization, and database performance tuning.
• Knowledge of cloud security, secret management, encryption, and secure coding practices. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of Git workflows, pull requests, and code review practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration skills.
