Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant – Cost Accounting and Project Costing

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Cost Management & Cost Accounting modules
• Manage cost capture, allocation, and adjustments across project lifecycle
• Support project costing (PPM) including cost collection from P2P, inventory, and timecards
• Perform subledger accounting (SLA) and accounting validation
• Ensure integration with Procurement, Payables, Inventory, and GL
• Support CRP, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live activities
• Work closely with finance, SCM, and business stakeholders

• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability
• Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
• Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
• Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
• Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
• Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions
• One or two industry domain knowledge
• Client Interfacing skills
• Project and Team management

Technical and Professional Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Financials, with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cost Accounting / Cost Management to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle cost accounting/cost management solutions.
• Experience with SLA, GL, Project Costing (PPM – optional)
• Strong accounting knowledge (accruals, capitalization, costing methods)
• Having 1 – 2 end-end full life cycle implementations
