Apigee Developer

Your Role

• Design, develop, and deploy API proxies using Apigee Edge/Apigee X.
• Implement API security policies such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and OpenID Connect.
• Develop and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Configure traffic management policies including rate limiting, spike arrest, caching, and quota management.
• Integrate APIs with backend services, microservices, and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot API performance, latency, and production issues.
• Create API documentation and support API lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD automation and API deployments.
• Monitor APIs using Apigee analytics and logging tools.

Your Profile

• 6+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in Apigee development.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge/Apigee X.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for Apigee policies and custom development.
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, and Microservices.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API Security.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD pipelines.
