Java Springboot +AWS Developer

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot aligned to scalable microservice patterns.
• Build and integrate AWS-based components to support application functionality, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop RESTful APIs, service contracts, and backend integrations with strong focus on performance and maintainability.
• Implement secure, production-grade solutions including authentication/authorization, secrets handling, and secure communication patterns.
• Drive cloud deployment readiness by supporting CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, and release processes on AWS.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes with monitoring/alerting improvements.
• Write clean, testable code; create unit and integration tests; and ensure high code quality through reviews and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver features within timelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and reusable components.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BTECH, BSC, MTECH, MCA or a related field.
• 8–10 years of hands-on backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience as an AWS Developer building, deploying, and supporting applications on AWS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend design principles, and production-grade coding practices.
• Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and resolving issues in distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and implementing microservices with Spring Boot, including service discovery, resiliency, and API versioning strategies.
• Strong exposure to AWS services and patterns such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM for secure, observable systems.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration approaches (e.g., Docker/ECS/EKS) and cloud deployment best practices.
• Experience with data access patterns and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate/JPA) and building efficient persistence layers.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD automation and infrastructure practices that improve release velocity and reliability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions, influence design decisions, and guide teams toward maintainable solutions.
