Job Description
Your Role
• Financial Planning: Prepare monthly forecasts and actuals, as well as annual budgets across various P&L and KPI lines, followed by system uploads and validation checks.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports, dashboards, and commentaries to management, highlighting key performance metrics and trends (variance vs. Budget/Forecast, YoY or sequential movement, ratios, business mix, etc.).
• Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis between actual results/latest forecast and budget/previous forecast, and provide explanations for key variances. Support management with analytical insights for strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
• Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data through validation and reconciliation processes.
• Event Support: Support business reviews, 3-year plans, and other ad hoc requirements to address specific business questions or challenges.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with upstream and downstream finance teams, as well as other functions like Sales, Operations, and HR, for data inputs, clarifications, and reconciliations.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and governance requirements (e.g., updated SOPs, validation checks in reports).
• Transformation: Drive process improvements, digitization, and automation to enhance efficiency and deliver value-added services to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders on delivery and people-related aspects, set expectations, and support future planning.
• Talent Management: Mentor, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage staffing operations, including hiring, mobility, pyramid management, and attrition.
Your Profile
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, reporting, and analytics techniques.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and financial statements.
• Deep understanding of P&L and key KPI drivers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with large-scale ERPs such as Oracle, SAP, or HFM is preferred.
• Understanding of internal control principles and processes is preferred.
• Experience in the service or IT industry is preferred.
• Strong data analytics, visualization, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent communication, articulation, and presentation skills.
• Growth mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
• Proactive and flexible approach, adaptable to different scenarios and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adhere to timelines and governance standards.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines.
