Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide L2 support for database environments including SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL
Perform database administration activities such as installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability
Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning of databases
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) processes for databases
Work on query optimization and indexing strategies to improve performance
Support and monitor ETL processes and data pipelines
Assist in generating reports, dashboards, and analytics outputs based on business requirements
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and analytics teams for data integration and issue resolution
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for database and analytics processes
