Big Query Data Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize data solutions using Google BigQuery.

Write complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.

Design scalable data models and data warehouse structures.

Build and support ETL or ELT pipelines on GCP.

Perform BigQuery performance tuning and cost optimization.

Collaborate with business and analytics teams for data requirements.

Technical and Professional Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in BigQuery and SQL.

Experience in GCP data engineering and cloud data platforms.

Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL concepts.

Ability to optimize BigQuery queries and manage large datasets.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, or Looker.

Knowledge of Python or Spark.

Exposure to enterprise data governance practices.
