ServiceNow SAM Pro Developer

Your Role

• Implement and configure ServiceNow SAM Pro, publisher packs, and software models.
• Manage the software asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
• Configure licenses, entitlements, contracts, and ELP.
• Perform normalization, reconciliation, reclamation, and compliance audits.
• Integrate SAM with Discovery, SCCM/MECM, Intune, JAMF, CMDB, and CSDM.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Build dashboards, reports, and KPIs for license optimization and cost savings.
• Configure forms, tables, workflows, and automation processes.
• Develop client-side and server-side scripting using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
• Design and maintain Service Portal pages and widgets.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, code reviews, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Your Profile

• ServiceNow Expertise: Deep knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), ITAM framework, CMDB, and Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
• Scripting & Development: Advanced JavaScript, Glide Script, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Workflows.
• Integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and connecting third-party discovery tools (SCCM, Flexera, Intune).
• Platform Tools: ServiceNow Discovery and Flow Designer
• Preferred Certification – CSA, CIS-ITSM, ITIL Foundation Certification
