Responsibilities

Informatica Platform Administration

Install, configure, and manage Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, IDQ, and EDC environments

Administer Informatica domains, repositories, and services

Manage environment setup across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production

Handle patching, upgrades, and migrations

PowerCenter Administration

Manage Repository Services and Integration Services

Monitor workflows, sessions, and ETL jobs

Perform performance tuning and optimization

Support deployments and code migrations

IICS (Cloud) Administration

Manage IICS services (Data Integration, Application Integration, Mass Ingestion)

Configure connectors, secure agents, and runtime environments

Monitor task execution and troubleshoot failures

Implement security and role-based access control (RBAC)

IDQ (Informatica Data Quality)

Administer IDQ environment and services

Manage data quality rules, profiling, and monitoring

Ensure data validation and cleansing processes

Support integration with ETL/data pipelines

EDC (Enterprise Data Catalog)

Configure and manage metadata ingestion and scanning

Maintain data lineage, cataloging, and governance processes

Configure connectors for various data sources

Ensure proper metadata management and accessibility

Additional Responsibilities

✅ Core Skills

5–9 years of experience in Informatica Administration

Strong expertise in:

Informatica PowerCenter

Informatica IICS (Cloud)

Informatica IDQ

Informatica EDC

Experience in production support environments (L2/L3)

✅ Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of ETL and data integration concepts

Good experience with Unix/Linux & shell scripting

Strong SQL and database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)

Experience with job scheduling tools (AutoSys/Control-M)

Understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting

Familiarity with networking and security concepts

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Knowledge of Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC)

Exposure to Big Data / Hadoop / Spark

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Basic knowledge of Python scripting
