Windchill Migration Technical Lead

Your Profile

• Lead end-to-end Windchill migration projects, including assessment, planning, execution, validation, and production deployment.
• Define migration strategy, data mapping specifications, transformation rules, and reconciliation processes.
• Analyze source and target PLM data models and identify data quality, consistency, and integrity issues.
• Design and develop migration solutions utilizing Windchill APIs, migration utilities, and automation frameworks.
• Execute extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for Parts, Documents, CAD Data, BOMs, Change Objects, Classification Data, Lifecycle States, Users, and Roles.
• Develop migration scripts, automation utilities, and validation frameworks to streamline migration activities.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration verification to ensure migration accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support mock migrations, cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and provide effective technical solutions while ensuring compliance with data governance standards.

Your Role

• Minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6+ years of hands-on experience in PTC Windchill PLM.
• Strong experience leading enterprise-scale Windchill migration and transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of Windchill Data Model, WTPart, EPMDocument, Product Structure/BOM, Change Management, Lifecycle Management, Workflows, and Classification.
• Hands-on experience with Windchill APIs, Windchill REST Services (WRS), Info*Engine, and customization development.
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE development and scripting for migration automation.
• Experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL databases, including data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation.
• Expertise in processing and transforming XML, CSV, and JSON data formats.
• Experience with ETL tools, migration frameworks, and data quality management practices.
• Knowledge of ERP integrations, preferably SAP, and CAD integrations including Creo.
• Strong stakeholder management, estimation, planning, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience in conducting design reviews, code reviews, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and large-scale global implementation programs.
