KYC / CDD Functional SME

Responsibilities

Minimum 10 years of experience in KYC, CDD, EDD, client onboarding, financial crime compliance, customer risk review or banking compliance operations.

Strong understanding of customer due diligence, beneficial ownership, identity records, risk rating, periodic review and documentation expectations.

Ability to define functional requirements, workflows, business rules, data needs, acceptance criteria and testing scenarios.

Experience working with KYC platforms, onboarding systems, case management tools or compliance operations teams.

Ability to review AI-assisted summaries and verify whether outputs are complete, evidence-backed and operationally useful.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with product, engineering, QA, data and AI teams.

Ability to work in agile product delivery and support demo/UAT preparation.

Technical and Professional Requirements

Experience with Fenergo, Actimize, Oracle FCCM, World-Check, LexisNexis, ComplyAdvantage, DataWalk, ServiceNow or similar KYC/financial crime platforms.

Exposure to entity resolution, ownership structures, customer data quality, sanctions screening or perpetual KYC concepts.

Experience with KYC remediation, audit evidence, regulatory exam support or operations transformation programs.

Certifications such as CAMS, CKYCA or equivalent are preferred.

Experience supporting AI-enabled KYC, workflow automation or compliance technology initiatives.
