Dynatrace Observability Engineer / Consultant

Your Role

As a Dynatrace Observability Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for designing, onboarding, configuring, and managing end-to-end observability solutions using the Dynatrace platform across cloud and on-premises environments. You will work closely with application, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to enable proactive monitoring, performance optimization, reliability engineering, and automated incident management. You will leverage modern Dynatrace capabilities including Grail, Open Pipelines, DQL, Workflows, and AIOps to deliver scalable and cloud-aligned observability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Dynatrace onboarding for applications, platforms, cloud services, and infrastructure components.
• Configure and manage metrics, traces, logs, dashboards, KPIs, and intelligent alerting to provide actionable operational insights.
• Build end-to-end observability views by integrating multiple technology stacks, platforms, and business services.
• Develop automation workflows and AIOps-driven monitoring solutions to support proactive incident detection and resolution.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, cloud, and operations teams to ensure observability standards, governance, and lifecycle management are maintained.

Your Profile

• Hands-on expertise with Dynatrace SaaS and/or Managed environments, including platform administration and onboarding.
• Strong experience with Dynatrace Grail, data ingestion, data management, and Open Pipelines implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of DQL, Workflows, Guardians, Automation, AIOps features, OpenTelemetry, and OpenLLMetry.
• Experience monitoring and optimizing observability for Azure and/or AWS cloud environments and distributed architectures.
• Strong automation and integration skills using Monaco, Terraform, JavaScript, REST APIs, and observability-as-code practices.
