Job Description
Your Role
As a UI/UX / HMI Framework Architect, you will be responsible for defining and governing the architecture of enterprise-grade UI frameworks and visualization platforms. You will collaborate with customers, product teams, architects, and engineering teams to build reusable, scalable, and performance-optimized UI solutions using technologies such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Qt/QML, and OpenGL.
You will play a key role in technical leadership, presales solutioning, innovation initiatives, and long-term technology roadmap planning while ensuring delivery excellence across automotive and embedded software programs.
Your Profile
Required Skills
- 12+ years of experience in UI/UX development, HMI engineering, or visualization platforms.
- Strong expertise in UI/UX and Human Machine Interface (HMI) architecture, design principles, and framework development.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Unity 3D
- Unreal Engine
- Qt Framework / QML
- OpenGL / OpenGL ES
- Strong proficiency in C++, C#, and Object-Oriented Design principles.
- Experience designing scalable, reusable, and modular UI component frameworks.
- Strong understanding of graphics rendering pipelines, GPU optimization, shaders, animations, and visualization technologies.
- Expertise in responsive UI design, multi-resolution adaptation, and cross-platform deployment.
- Experience integrating UI frameworks with backend services, middleware, APIs, and embedded software stacks.
- Strong knowledge of MVC, MVVM, and component-based architecture patterns.
- Understanding of real-time systems, performance profiling, memory optimization, and startup optimization techniques.
- Experience working with Linux, Android, Windows, or RTOS-based platforms.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code review processes, and Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of UI automation, usability testing, accessibility standards, and quality engineering practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Automotive HMI, Digital Cockpit, Infotainment, or Embedded Systems domains.
- Experience with advanced visualization, graphics frameworks, and animation systems.
- Exposure to customer-facing architecture discussions and presales engagements.
- Experience leading large-scale UI platform modernization initiatives.
In This Role, You Will
Architecture & Framework Development
- Define and own the architecture for enterprise-grade UI/UX and HMI frameworks for automotive and embedded products.
- Design scalable, reusable, configurable, and modular UI component libraries and platform services.
- Develop framework strategies and technology roadmaps based on Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, Qt/QML, and OpenGL/OpenGL ES platforms.
- Establish UI architecture standards, design guidelines, and framework governance practices.
- Drive cross-platform deployment strategies and multi-resolution UI adaptation approaches.
Presales Solutioning & Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with Business Development and account teams on presales solutioning, RFPs, RFIs, and customer proposals.
- Engage with customers to understand business, UX, HMI, and technical requirements.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable and future-ready solution architectures.
- Conduct architecture workshops, technical reviews, and customer presentations.
Technical Leadership
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and framework governance activities.
- Mentor and guide development teams on UI architecture, rendering technologies, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate emerging UI/HMI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Optimize rendering performance, GPU utilization, memory consumption, startup time, and application responsiveness.
- Ensure adherence to quality, security, reliability, and maintainability requirements.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD initiatives, including automated builds, testing, and deployment pipelines.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive innovation in user experiences, advanced visualizations, animations, and interaction models.
- Benchmark solutions against industry-leading automotive and embedded HMI platforms.
- Contribute to strategic technology decisions and long-term architecture planning.
- Promote adoption of modern UI engineering practices, automation frameworks, and accessibility standards.
