Senior React Native Developer

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Lead implementation of complex UI flows, navigation patterns, and reusable component libraries with a focus on scalability and consistency.
• Integrate GraphQL APIs, define efficient queries/mutations, and ensure robust client-side data handling and caching.
• Drive mobile app performance improvements (rendering, startup time, memory usage) and ensure smooth user experiences across devices.
• Collaborate with backend teams to align GraphQL schemas and client requirements, improving API usability and reliability.
• Ensure code quality through clean architecture, unit/integration testing, and thorough code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including crash analysis and release hotfixes.
• Mentor engineers, guide best practices, and contribute to technical decision-making and delivery planning.
• Participate in release management, app store submissions, and continuous improvement of CI/CD and development workflows.

Additional Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing scalable mobile architectures and establishing patterns for state management, networking, and modularization.
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL client strategies (caching, pagination, optimistic updates) and schema-driven development practices.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing strategies for React Native apps (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and improving test coverage.
• Experience improving developer productivity via tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation for mobile applications.
• Demonstrated technical leadership through mentoring, ownership of critical modules, and driving engineering best practices across teams.

TypeScript, Redux, Apollo Client, Jest, Firebase

Technical and Professional Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• 9–11 years of overall software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in React Native.
• Proven experience building and shipping mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.
• Strong proficiency with GraphQL integration in mobile apps, including query/mutation design and error handling.
• Solid understanding of mobile fundamentals: performance optimization, debugging, and platform-specific considerations.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and delivering features reliably in production environments.
