Senior Software Engineer

Your Role

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on IBM AS/400 (IBM i) platform using RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions for application development, customization, and support.
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of AS/400 programs while ensuring quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams for system enhancements, integrations, and project delivery.

Your Profile

• Strong hands-on experience in AS/400 development with expertise in RPG III/IV, RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, and Embedded SQL.
• Good understanding of IBM iSeries architecture, database design, file processing, and batch job management.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, performance tuning, and system troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, and version control processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and within teams.
