Performance Test Engineer

Your Role

• Design, develop, and execute Performance, Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Scalability tests using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Build and maintain complex performance test scripts using Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and protocol-level scripting.
• Analyze application behavior under peak load, concurrent user volumes, high transaction throughput, and long-duration endurance testing.
• Create performance test scripts, workload models, test scenarios, and execution plans for web, API, microservices, cloud-native, and backend applications.
• Correlate and analyze performance metrics across application, web, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
• Identify performance bottlenecks by analyzing response time, throughput, error rates, CPU, memory, disk I/O, JVM/.NET metrics, thread utilization, garbage collection, and database performance statistics.

Your Profile

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Engineering and Performance Testing using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Strong expertise in VuGen scripting, correlation, parameterization, rendezvous points, transaction handling, scenario design, and workload modeling.
• Solid understanding of Performance Testing methodologies: Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, Scalability, Volume, Capacity, and Benchmark Testing.
• Experience testing REST APIs, SOAP services, web applications, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, Web Services, APIs, caching mechanisms, CDN concepts, and browser performance metrics.
