We are looking for an experienced Datadog APM Full-Stack Observability Implementer & Developer to design, implement, and optimize observability solutions across complex, distributed environments. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in APM, infrastructure monitoring, logs, RUM, synthetic monitoring, and full-stack observability using Datadog, along with exposure to tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, or similar platforms.

This role requires strong client-facing communication skills, the ability to design and present observability solutions, and hands-on development/integration capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and configure Datadog APM to monitor distributed systems, microservices, cloud workloads, and business applications.
- Implement APM instrumentation for services running on Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, Go, and other technologies.
- Set up and optimize traces, spans, logs, metrics, RUM, synthetics, dashboards, monitors, alerting, and SLOs.
- Configure Datadog Integrations for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Kubernetes, ECS), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build custom monitoring solutions, dashboards, and visualizations for application & infrastructure performance.
- Develop automated detection and correlation strategies using Datadog features like
- Watchdog
- Service Maps
- Log Pipelines
- APM Tracing Libraries
- Notebooks
- Implement custom scripts, APIs, and automations using Python, JavaScript, Terraform, or Datadog APIs.
- Integrate Datadog with ITSM, CI/CD, logging, cloud-native services, and event management tools.
- Deliver PoCs, demos, technical workshops, capability presentations, and solution walkthroughs.
- Continuously improve monitoring strategies to enhance SRE/DevOps workflows.
Technical Skills
- 7–12 years of experience in APM, observability, performance engineering, or full-stack monitoring.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Datadog APM & Observability Suite (traces, logs, metrics, RUM, synthetics, SLOs).
- Experience implementing APM in one or more languages (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, Go).
- Experience with containerized and cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Docker, serverless).
- Good understanding of microservices architectures, distributed tracing, and correlation models.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.
- Any Public Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Datadog APM Implementation / Datadog Observability Foundationn Certification
- Familiarity with DevOps and SRE frameworks (SLI/SLO/SLA design, incident response, chaos engineering).
