Job Description – Grade Specific

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Create and maintain automated UI and end-to-end test scripts.
• Automate API testing and validations.
• Develop reusable automation utilities and libraries.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and cross-browser testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test execution results and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and test strategy discussions.
• Generate and maintain automation reports and dashboards.
• Drive automation best practices across the QA organization.

Required Technical Skills

Automation Testing

• Strong experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (preferred) or Playwright with Java.

Framework Development

• Experience in building automation frameworks using:

  • REST APIs
  • Postman
  • JSON Validation
  • API Authentication (OAuth, JWT, Bearer Token)

CI/CD & DevOps

Reporting & Monitoring

• Allure Reports
• Playwright HTML Reports

Preferred Skills

• Database Testing (SQL).
• Performance testing exposure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• BrowserStack or Sauce Labs integration.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Playwright framework migration from Selenium/Cypress.
• Accessibility testing and visual testing experience.
• Knowledge of security testing concepts.
