AWS Data Engineer

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage applications on AWS cloud platform

Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems

Work with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC

Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

Monitor system performance and ensure cost optimization

Implement security best practices and compliance policies

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for deployments

Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues

Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance

Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups

Additional Responsibilities

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer / SysOps)

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)

Exposure to serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway)

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools

Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks

Familiarity with data services (Redshift, Glue, Athena)

Experience with microservices architecture

Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP)

Technical and Professional Requirements
