Job Description
Your Role
|
• Develop, test, and deploy EDI transactions including but not limited to 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, and 999 |
|
• Work with trading partners to establish and maintain EDI connections (SFTP, AS2, etc.) |
|
• Collaborate with business analysts and internal stakeholders to gather integration requirements and define mapping specifications |
|
• Perform data mapping and translation using EDI tools or integration platforms |
|
• Monitor daily EDI transaction processing and troubleshoot errors, rejections, and issues |
|
• Support onboarding of new trading partners, including setup, testing, and production cutover |
|
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all data exchanges and maintain thorough documentation |
|
• Participate in the development of APIs or other integration solutions as needed |
|
• Maintain logs, technical documentation, and system configurations |
|
• Provide support during audits and ensure data integrity across systems |
Your Profile
|
• In EDI development or integration within the healthcare industry |
|
• Strong experience with ANSI X12 formats, especially 837, 835, 270/271 |
|
• Hands-on experience with EDI mapping, translation, and integration tools |
|
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance, healthcare claims processing, and payer/provider data flows |
|
• Proficiency in scripting languages and SQL for data manipulation |
|
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail |
|
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills |
