Job Description

Your Role

• Develop, test, and deploy EDI transactions including but not limited to 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, and 999

• Work with trading partners to establish and maintain EDI connections (SFTP, AS2, etc.)

• Collaborate with business analysts and internal stakeholders to gather integration requirements and define mapping specifications

• Perform data mapping and translation using EDI tools or integration platforms

• Monitor daily EDI transaction processing and troubleshoot errors, rejections, and issues

• Support onboarding of new trading partners, including setup, testing, and production cutover

• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all data exchanges and maintain thorough documentation

• Participate in the development of APIs or other integration solutions as needed

• Maintain logs, technical documentation, and system configurations

• Provide support during audits and ensure data integrity across systems

Your Profile

• In EDI development or integration within the healthcare industry

• Strong experience with ANSI X12 formats, especially 837, 835, 270/271

• Hands-on experience with EDI mapping, translation, and integration tools

• Understanding of HIPAA compliance, healthcare claims processing, and payer/provider data flows

• Proficiency in scripting languages and SQL for data manipulation

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
